I'M ALIVE

Hello everyone! I'm ALIVE! I'm so sorry that I've left my little blog hanging for so long. Life has been all over the place and I honestly haven't felt like blogging the past few weeks, but I'm back at it. Yay! Now where to start?

This cute little dog is named Casey. I seriously am in love with him. He is so gentle and calm and just straight up adorable. Davis' brother's roommate bought him last month and we've all loved playing with him.
Davis and Casey
We've been hanging out at Braden's (Davis' brother) house a lot lately and luckily we are able to bring our friends over there to hang out with us.
I love these people in the picture below so much. You could say that they are some of my favorite people around.
Statler, Donna, Korbin, Sadie, Davis, David and I
Last but not least, these cute kiddos.
I am fortunate enough to be able to watch these guys while there mama goes out to do business. Their mama is my cousin Tiffani. They are such fun and easy kids to watch. Even the baby is a breeze.

Presli loves to take selfies on my phone every time she sees me.
So there you have it. This is what little miss me has been up to these past few weeks. Sorry my life is so boring. Things should be getting a little more exciting around here and I'm excited!

TOO GOOD

Yesterday was such a great day. There wasn't one thing that I could complain about.
First off, I love Davis dearly.
He is always finding ways to make me smile. He's the greatest friend a girl could ask for. He's the reason yesterday was so amazing.
Second, Davis and I had a fun time Christmas shopping with each other. We got all the presents we needed and are set for Christmas morning. After we shopped, we met up with Davis' parents at the Riverwoods. They just flew in yesterday from Seattle and will be here for two weeks. D is super excited to see his family for Christmas, and so am I.

After hanging out with the parentals, we went over to Braden's (Davis' brother) house. We had a fun night hanging out and playing video games. Braden's roommate has the cutest dog. We were playing with and petting him all night long. It was a great time.

Tonight, we are going up to SLC with Davis' family. We are going to dinner with his dad's family and after we're seeing his mom's sister in a play called, "White Christmas." I'm so excited and there will definitely be a post to come.

SNAKES

Last Saturday while walking around outside of Davis' brother's house, we stumbled upon two individuals who were indeed holding snakes. My sister Laci used to have a snake and so I was I eager to hold one, Davis on the other hand was not. After much convincing, we finally got him to hold the bigger of the two snakes. He was a little scared and didn't want the head near him whatsoever, but HE DID IT. I have known for a long time now that Davis isn't a fan of snakes so it was exciting for me to see him holding one. Score for team Davis.

WE LOVE MAX

This is our fat dog Maxwell. We love and adore the big guy. He's such a cutie. (so is the boy in the picture on the left). Max is six years old and I picked him out of his litter when he was just a puppy. He was the cutest little guy ever. These are the only pictures of him I could find. Totally bad quality, but you can still tell how cute he was as a pup. Max will always have a special place in my heart. I love him.

Max and I were both so little! I was in eighth grade when I took this picture.

ZOO ADVENTURES

yesterday, davis and i went to the hogle zoo. we had been talking about how much we've been wanting to go to the zoo for a while so we finally made it happen. it was so much fun to see the animals. i honestly felt like a five old when i saw a cute animal. it was so exciting. i hadn't been to the zoo in years and it was well worth it. are you ready for a picture overload?

SUCCESS//FOOD//DANCE//DOGS

HE DID IT and i am soo excited for him! it's been amazing to watch davis grow. i am stoked for him to start his amazing job and make his life exactly how he wants it to be. i am so grateful that i am apart of his life and that i have been by his side through this awesome journey.
CONGRATS BOO. i love to you.
tyler, davis, and their amazing teacher tony.

a few fun side notes!
#1 before davis' event, laci, davis and i went to in-n-out burger to have some lunch and celebrate his success. it was a yummy meal filled with burgers and way too many animal style fries.

#2 i finishing teaching at dance showcase's intensive. my strength training class went GREAT. it was hard for them, but they all pushed through like champs. i am sore as EVER and i bet they are too. walking up the stairs and sitting on the toilet are now a struggle for me and after lagoon and swimming yesterday {post to come} it's even worse.

#3 the crazy dog is gone. duncan left today and i am just a little excited. the cat has been in hiding for the past five days now and max has been more annoyed than ever. he was a pain in the butt but how can you resist those puppy eyes? it was a fun couple of days, but i'm happy the adhd (i swear! he is too hyper) dog is outta here.

life's great. can't wait to see what this week has in store.

WHO LET THE DOGS OUT?

for the next couple of days we get to have not only one dog in our house but two. while my step brother and his wife are away on a trip, we get to watch over their dog, duncan. this guy is a huge ball of energy. he is a little crazy and hard to handle at times, but we'll manage. his bark is pretty annoying and it rarely ever stops. other than that, i like him and think he's pretty cute. he just runs and around and sniffs stuff all day. now there's somebody in our house that isn't too excited for duncan's visit...

this guy isn't too happy with this whole other dog thing. since max is getting older, and he is as fat as can be, he doesn't like to play with duncan too much. now, duncan on the other hand... he is a complete spaz and is constantly jumping on max to try to get him to play. max doesn't like this one bit and growls and tries to run away from him. {he can't run too fast though haha}.
i guess max is just going to have to deal with duncan for a few days. maybe they'll become best friends.

FEEDING THE DUCKS

i love living in the "middle of nowhere orem." i live on the tenth hole of a golf course and i couldn't love it more. our house is far enough away from the busy part of orem so everything is quiet, yet close enough that it isn't a hassle to have to drive up into it. no matter where i go in my little neighborhood, there is a pretty view. if i walk across the street i get to see this...

my mom takes our dog max on a walk here everyday so she can feed the ducks and max can run around and explore. davis and i decided to go along with her the other day. it was so nice and relaxing to be able to go on a walk and feed these cute little guys. the only down side to living here...mesquites. our house is next to the utah lake which draws in the buggers like you wouldn't believe. other than that, this place is perfect. i love my little house and these ducks.
