BOATING AT UTAH LAKE

Yesterday David's sister took us boating. It was such an amazing and fun time out on the lake and so instead of me telling you all about it, I am going to let the pictures do the talking.

HAPPY GOLFERS

On Saturday Davis had the wonderful idea of going to the driving range! We took my mom along and it was soo much fun! The weather was beautiful. (I am so freaking excited for SUMMER!!)  I haven't golfed too much in my lifetime, but luckily my step dad, Jeff, is an amazing golfer. He has taught my mom some great stuff  and she helped Davis and I out a lot. (Davis was helping me a ton as well) I can't lie, we were bombing the balls! I can't wait to get back out the driving range and keep practicing. Hopefully D and I get out on the course a lot this summer.

BOWLING AND GOODBYES

Connor, Davis, and I
On Monday night Davis and I joined Connor's family for bowling! It was honestly so much fun! Davis bowled a turkey!! I didn't do so hot, but that didn't keep me from smiling!

Davis' Turkey! (Three Stikes in a row)

Connor left on his mission today. It was so sad to see these two best friends say goodbye to each other. :(
He will be serving in Budapest, Hungary speaking Hungarian. We are so proud of him! We love him and will miss him dearly! Connor is going to be an amazing missionary!

BYU GAME

On February 22nd Davis and I went to the BYU basketball game vs Portland. We had nose bleed seats, but the game was still so much fun! I love watching basketball with my basketball player.

UTAH UTES

Last Saturday was the Holy War, aka the Utah Utes vs the BYU Cougars. Davis and I had some friends over to watch the game and sure had a fun time! Luckily, our favorite team won and we got to celebrate the victory! Go UTAH!

AS OF LATELY

Where to begin... Saturday Davis got taken to the BYU game by our next door neighbor Kade, so I stayed at home and watched the game. I actually watched the game and it was actually a lot of fun! I can't wait to go to the BYU vs Utah game next weekend with the boys. Now, Saturday was the day of the crazzzzzy storm so the game got delayed two hours, but once the storm calmed down everyone was finally able to watch it. Davis got completely soaked, but he said he had a great time. Since I was watching the game from home, during half time I went for a run. It was beautiful outside and the weather was perfect for running. The park next to our house was turned into a pond for the night because of the insane amount of rain. There were people swimming, tubing, and canoeing in the new pond. After my run, my mom and I went to Roll Up Crepes in Orem. If you haven't been, run don't walk! We shared a dinner crepe and each got our own dessert ones, boy was it good.

Last Monday, Davis and Grandpa Elison went golfing here at Sleepy Ridge so I was there to greet them at hole ten. Davis' grandpa is seriously the sweetest man around and wanted to take a picture with me. (don't mind my pale skin and no make up.) Davis did an awesome job and played one of the best rounds of golf he's ever played.

Life right now is divine. I've been teaching a lot at Dance Showcase and (almost) loving every minute of it. It is so much fun to be in charge of a class and to be able to help these girls grow as dancers. For the most part, they are a fun bunch to teach. I've been having fun hanging out, watching Davis play basketball and cuddling with my boo thang while watching Breaking Bad.
Time next time, XOXOXO.

TAKE ME BACK TO CALIFORNIA

it's late at night. i'm sitting in my room looking through old pictures and decided i wanted to take it back to my california trip with davis! back in march, davis and i set out on a road trip to california for my birthday. this is honestly the most fun trip i have ever been on. (other than the fact that i was sick the whole time...)

our first day there was my birthday. we started the day out by heading to downtown los angeles to go to the elison's favorite place, olvera street. davis and his family have been coming here for years and he wanted me to try out their famous tequitos. let's just say they were soo yummy and worth the la traffic.
after olvera, we went to university walk at universal studios to do some shopping.
that night we went to benihanas  for my birthday dinner.

the next morning we woke up early and went to california adventures. this and disneyland were our main reasons for coming all the way to california. it was a blast. i felt like a little kid again.
the following day was spent in disneyland which was even better than california adventures. i hadn't been in disneyland in years and it was soo fun to be there with davis.

after two amazing days at the happiest place on earth, we decided to travel a little bit and make our way to the beach. we weren't sure which beach to go to and after talking with our families we wanted to check out newport. we got some yummy seafood and had fun walking along the beach. it wasn't the warmest of days so we didn't get to hope in the ocean and lay out but i loved having my feet in the sand and hearing the waves crash.

we were in cali a total of 10 days so this is when my days get a little jumbled, but i'll still fill you in.
we had the chance one day to go to knott's berry farm. it wasn't as fun as we expected and a lot more expensive, but we still had a good time.

the highlight of the trip was when we were able to attend a lakers game. it was very hard to find tickets and we ended up having to buy them from random people selling them outside. we didn't have the greatest seats. we also didn't get to see our favorite player kobe play due to an injury. the experience was amazing though and i am so happy that i got to go see davis' favorite team play. this was davis' first time to a lakers game so it was pretty exciting for him (mine too).

overall these are the highlights from our trip. it was AMAZING and if i could go back right now, i would in a heart beat. i had the greatest birthday and was soo happy i was able to spend it in such an awesome place with such an awesome person. it couldn't have been more perfect.
