HAPPY NINETEENTH TO ME

Monday was my nineteenth birthday! I had an amazing day! I got to spend time with some of the people I love the most. During the afternoon, we went up to Canyon Glen Park. We had a bonfire and made some chicken.

After the bonfire, Laci, Davis, and I went to Bucca Di Beppo in Midvale for dinner. I have been going to Bucca for my birthday dinner for about 5 or 6 years now. It was a must to go up there.

After our yummy dinner, we went to Baskin Robbins and got some ice cream.

KNEADERS

Sorry for leaving my blog hanging this past week. This weekend was busy and spent with Davis' family in Midway for Swiss Days, but I'll post about that later. For now, I'll post about Friday morning with my sistah! I had been craving Kneaders and luckily I have a sister who was willing to go with me in between her classes at school. It was soooo yummy! That same day (and the day before) I managed to get my car fixed!! YAY! My muffler was broken and so my car literally sounded like a four wheeler. My sound system was broken too and I had to have a button replaced so I could play music through the aux cord. I have put both of those things off for months so it feels so nice to finally have them both fixed. SUCCESS!

After tomorrow things will be slowing down again so I will be posting about my amazing weekend in Midway. Until next time.

DANCING UNDER THE STARS

On Friday, Laci and I went on a sister date to Dancing Under The Stars at the Scera Shell. Over all, the show was pretty good. The greatest part of the whole show was being able to see Shaping Sound. If you haven't heard of Shaping Sound you should look them up. They are AMAZING. I never wanted them to stop dancing. Some of the best contemporary dancing I've ever seen in person.

Another dance that I LOVED was a dance by Divinity Company choreographed by my old teacher Alan. This video isn't from the show on Friday night, but from the Divinity concert that was at the beginning of the month. I didn't get to go so I watched this dance on Youtube when Alan posted it. It was amazing to be able to see it in person on an actual stage. Alan is an amazing choreographer. 

That girl, the blonde soloist. That's one of my besties Ellie. I've danced with her since I was itty bitty and she is outstanding. I mean, just look at her! 

I had such a fun night hanging out with my sissy, watching some amazing dancing, and eating this amazing ice cream treat.

NOT SO SWIM PARTY

Last night Laci's dentist office rented out the Scera Pool for a costumer appreciation party. Davis, Laci, and I had been excited to go since last week and when the day of the pool party finally came around, the weather wasn't looking too promising. About fifteen minutes before the party, the weather semi cleared up so we decided to head over and see if we could tough it out. We got there and it was definitely to cold to get into the pool, but at least we got some free pizza and and excuse to get out the house. 

I guess we'll just have to go the pool on a normal day... what a shame ;)

BIRTHDAYS PART THREE - A CELEBRATION

July 27th was definitely a day to remember. Davis and Laci's birthday turned out to be such a fun time. We had to get together at Davis' brother's house on Saturday night and luckily my sister was able to come and celebrate with us. I had such a fun night with both of my best friends! How crazy is it that my boyfriend and sister have the exact same birthday!?

I love you both and I am so happy that I have best friends like you guys! You two mean the world me to and I am beyond grateful that you guys are such big influences in my life. Happy Birthday again!

today my sister turned twenty eight years old. laci is an amazing sister who is always looking out for me. she is always there for me and is willing to help me with everything i do. she is beautiful inside and out. i love her so much. i am so grateful to have her as my older sister. happy birthday laci! i hope it's amazing.

COOPER'S RUN 2K13

this morning i woke up and headed over to COOPER'S RUN. it is always so much fun and i look forward to it every year. this year, my beautiful mother ran the 5k. her goal was to beat her time from the last time she ran it and she did by SEVEN minutes! so proud of her for reaching her goal.

i also got to try waffle love for the first time. the truck was at the run and there was no way to resist ordering a yummy treat. both mine and my sister's waffles were delicious. 

it was fun to spend the morning with this cute birthday girl!! today is my sister's twenty eighth birthday!! {post to come}.

i can't believe that cooper's run 2013 is already at it's end. i am so grateful that i get to be apart of something so great. i love cooper and i love that we get to spend every year remembering him at this event. 

THERE'S A PARTY AT GATSBY'S

last night davis, laci, and i finally went to see the great gatsby. i read the book my junior year and loved it. i had been dying to see the movie for a long time. i had heard from a lot of people that if you had read the book, you wouldn't like the movie as much, but i went in with no expectations. i really loved the movie! i LOVE leonardo dicaprio. (BABE ALERT). i figured i would like the movie since the director who directed this film, also directed one of my favorite movies ever, romeo + juliet. as much as i liked the movie, i thought it was just a little bit too long, but oh well. along with the movie i also love the soundtrack. i got it the day it came out and listened to it for hours. i would totally recommend seeing the movie if you haven't had the chance to yet and also buying the cd. 

also, i loved the thunder, lightning, and rain yesterday. i wish it would rain some more since it's been SOOO hot around here, but i shouldn't complain about the heat since i doesn't last long.
